In the last 24 hours, 321 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Romania and 43 people have died. One death was recorded in the age group 30-39 years.
To date, on 28 May, in Romania, 1.077.161 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed.
1.037.729 patients have been declared cured.
Following the tests performed at national level, compared to the last report, 321 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) have been registered, these being cases that had not previously had a positive test.
Unlike the newly confirmed cases, following the retesting of patients who were already positive, 85 people were reconfirmed as positive.
To date, 30.174 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.
Between 27.05.2021 and 28.05.2021, there have been reported by INSP 43 deaths (29 men and 14 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Argeș, Bacău, Bihor, Brăila, Buzău, Caraș-Severin, Cluj, Constanța, Dolj, Galați, Harghita, Hunedoara, Iași, Maramureș, Mehedinți, Mureș, Neamț, Olt, Prahova, Sibiu, Teleorman, Tulcea and Bucharest.
